Born at Beglihosahalli, Kolar Taluk had his early education at Beglihosahalli, High School and College education at Kolar and B.P.Ed & M.P.Ed in Bangalore.
Started his career as a Teacher in High school at Masthi and then DR. Ambedkar High School, KGF. After M.P.Ed served as Lecturer and Principal in a post graduate training college at Dharwad. Served in V.V.Pura College, Bangalore as Physical Director. Selected for Range Forest Officer Training in Chandrapur, Maharashtra. Served as Range Forest Officer in South Kanara, Coorg, Mysore, Chikmagalur Districts. After promotion as Asst. Conservator of Forests, served in Mandya, Nagarahole (Coorg) and BRT Chamrajanagar. Taken voluntary retirement in 2003. At present working as Secretary, Antharaganga Seva Prathistana.
